how to find a job

When I went to college nobody taught me how to find a job. My counselors for the most part were just educated sales persons wanting to further the general criteria of enrollment my department had and, as a whole, the school department I was in did very little to prepare my class for the practical uses of my major (Psychology) and what that might mean if you didn't choose to go to grad school or clinical practice.

It took me a long time to learn on how to find a job effectively, but thankfully I found one just in time. The lessons I learned through my periods of difficulty were priceless though and now that I look back on them I almost laugh to myself thinking "Wow! How did I not know that?"

Learning how to find a job will take patience. It will take a few failed interviews and applications, but above all it will take consistency. I applied to many jobs every day and even though at times it can feel a little discouraging - I still made it on top and tried my hardest so I never gave up.
